Privacy policy

PF Player is a player: it asks for no sign-up and has no accounts of its own. This policy explains, without fine print, what data the app uses, where it stays and what reaches our server.

1. What stays on your device only

  • Your sources and credentials: the service address, your username and password, or your M3U list, stored encrypted on the phone or TV.
  • Your usage: history, Continue watching, Favorites, Watch later, progress on each title and the audio and subtitle tracks you pick.
  • The catalog: a copy of the channels, movies and series from your source, so the app opens fast.

None of this is sent to us. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, it is gone.

2. What the app sends to your provider

To show and play your content, the app connects directly to the service you set up, with the credentials you entered. That relationship is between you and your provider and is governed by their own terms.

3. What our license server receives

To know whether a device is on trial, licensed or has the license included, the app checks with our license server and sends:

  • a device identifier, which the app generates at random the first time and which is not tied to your name, email or phone number;
  • the kind of device (phone or TV), its model and Android version;
  • the address of the service you use and the app language.

Only if your provider is a partner does the app also send your username and password, so the server can confirm with that provider that your account is active and the license is included. The server uses the password for that check and does not store it; it does record the username next to the result, so it can handle claims about that license.

Like any server, the IP address of the connection may appear in technical logs.

4. Promotions

For customers of some partner providers, the app may show promotional images from that same provider on the home screen. To request them it sends only the service address. They are not third-party ads and are not used to track you.

5. What we do not do

  • There are no third-party analytics, trackers or ad networks inside the app.
  • We do not record which channels, movies or series you watch.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

6. This website

pfplayer.tv uses no cookies, analytics, or third-party fonts or scripts. It only stores the language you pick in your browser.

7. Your rights

You can erase everything the app stores by uninstalling it or clearing its data from Android settings. If you want us to delete your device's license record, write to the contact shown on the app's license screen, including your device code.

8. Changes

If what the app does with your data changes, we will update this page and the date above.
